Sounds like the Hershey’s Cocoa Recipe on the side of the container. I love it…if you just want to make one cup, you can do 2 Tbsp. sugar, 2 Tbsp cocoa, a dash of salt. Heat a cup of milk to boiling in the microwave. Then I add just enough milk to the cocoa mixture to wet it well and mix so the cocoa can dissolve, then add the rest of the milk and about a 1/4 tsp vanilla. YUM!

In reply to Deborah S Prather. Those are lovely ideas, Deborah. I do sometimes add chopped mint leaves to top off a cup of cocoa. The freshness of mint is very nice with chocolate.

You mentioned adding peppermint extract when you are heating up the milk and mix. How about using mint from your garden depending on the time of year? Maybe add a sprig of fresh mint to your cup. Could you flavor the mix by adding fresh mint after rubbing it with your hands and placing several pieces in the jar? You might be able to make a better suggest.
